Getting around

During the weekend events, all guests will be provided transport from their accommodation to the events and back. So no need to worry about transport in these scenarios.

In terms of travel outside the weekend events, Rapolano Terme is quite a rural town in the Tuscan Countryside (30 mins from Siena, 1 hr 15 mins from Florence), so there aren’t any ubers and taxis can be a little complicated to organise. We would recommend you rent a car, which you can do easily at any airport.

Flying

There are several airports you can fly into, depending on where you’re coming from. Below is a quick overview of each one and roughly how long it takes to reach Rapolano Terme:

• Perugia – San Francesco d’Assisi Airport: around 1 hour

• Florence – Amerigo Vespucci Airport: around 1 hour 20 minutes

• Pisa – Pisa International Airport: around 1 hour 50 minutes

• Ancona – Raffaello Sanzio Airport: around 2 hours 10 minutes

• Rome (Fiumicino) – Leonardo da Vinci Airport (FCO): around 2 hours 20 minutes

• Rome (Ciampino) – Giovan Battista Pastine International Airport: around 2 hours 20 minutes

Train

If you want to take the train, these are the possible stations you could arrive at:

• Siena: 35 mins drive from Rapolano Terme

• Chiusi-chianciano Terme: 45 mins

• Arezzo: 50 mins

There is also the local train station in Rapolano Terme (link here), but there are no car rental services in the town.
